ARRL FIELD DAY 2022

GARA Club members turned out for an awesome ARRL 2022 Field Day event!  As to be expected in southeast coastal Georgia it was a hot and sunny weekend.  We operated under special event call sign K4E with five stations and nine operators.  There were also several visitors who dropped by on Saturday to wish us well.  This year was the debut of our Kenwood radio club station which allowed for several more operators than in the past without increasing our station category.  Our stations operated on phone as well as digital modes with an impressive 790 SSB phone contacts.  Additionally, we had two off-site stations. Band conditions were fair to good and a fun time was had by all!  Once the ARRL tallies all the results later this year, we will publish our score here.
